How can I use MSWord to print checks?

I would like to print checks using MS Word. The check blanks would be fed
individually through the by-pass of the printer at right angles like an
envelope. Thus the printing would be typed on the screen in portrait but
would print in landscape.

Re: How can I use MSWord to print checks?

This is properly the function of financial management software such as
Quicken or Microsoft Money, both of which are set up to print on special
computer-adapted checks that you can order. You will likely not find
templates for printing on ordinary checks because (a) many printers may not
be capable of handling this small paper size, and (b) although the
arrangement of checks is fairly standard, it is not exactly standardized.
You will have to create your own template by measuring the position of the
various input fields on the check face and placing frames or check boxes as
required in a custom-size document.
