WHY IS SPACE BAR ERASING MY TEXT

WHEN I PRESS THE SPACE BAR TO MOVE TEXT OVER IT ERASES MY TEXT. ALSO WHEN I
PUSH BACKSPACE TO DELETE ONE LETTER & REPLACE IT ANOTHER LETTER IS REPLACED
WHEN I REENTER THE 1ST ONE SO I END UP HAVING TO RETYPE THE WHOLE WORD. i
DONT KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED. I WAS ENTERING INFO ON A WORD DOCUMENT GRAPH
THAT I MADE UP & I USE IT EVERY WEEK FOR BILLING. I AM THAT I PRESSED A
BUTTON THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT.

For a quick way to switch between Insert mode and Overtype mode, double-click
OVR on the status bar. (When OVR is dimmed, Insert mode is on; when OVR is
bold, Overtype mode is on.)

Perhaps it just doesn't like you SHOUTING.

You are in Overtype mode. Press the INS key once to toggle the setting (or
double click OVR in the status bar)

RE: WHY IS SPACE BAR ERASING MY TEXT

THANK YOU. I HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE FINDING IT ON THE STATUS BAR BUT I FOUND IT
UNDER TOOLS AND FIXED THE PROBLEM ONCE I KNEW WHAT TO LOOK FOR.
