Transferring Office 2003 to new Laptop
I've used all three of my licenses and would like to install Office on my new
laptop. I'm willing to remove it from a prior computer. Do I simply uninstall it from one machine and this will some way give me back a license opportunity for the new machine? Thanks |

Essentially you are correct. You should be able to uninstall and then
install on the computer (unless it was OEM software). If you run into problems activating over the Internet, you can call MS to transfer the license. -- Bob Larson Access World Forums Super Moderator Utter Access VIP Tutorials at http://www.btabdevelopment.com __________________________________ If my post was helpful to you, please rate the post. What number would you call to swap the license if the old machine is burned?

Don't know - but these are the instructions from the help file:
"you can register by telephone by following the instructions in the Office Activation Wizard." -- Bob Larson Access World Forums Super Moderator Utter Access VIP Tutorials at http://www.btabdevelopment.com __________________________________ If my post was helpful to you, please rate the post.
