product key has been activated the maximum number

im using office home and student 2007 and i got the product key from school
and when trying to activate i got the message that the product key has been
activated the maximum number of times. how can i try another product key that
was given to me from school withought having to reinstall everything, or
calling tech support?

Once you have been provided with a new Product Key, you can avoid the need
to reinstall by following the steps in this KB article (if you're
comfortable with some minor editing of the registry) -
