Re: outlook 2003 will not get email from windows live
And what happens when outlook is opened / started?
1) nothing, it doesnt start or gives an err; then use the office cd to repair the installation 2) it opens but none of the old mail is there; within outlook, File>Open>Data file.....browse to and open any other data files http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm 3) there are no other data files; then presumably the 'recover from crash' process destroyed all the origonal data 4) outlook is an email client not account, you have to enter the account info supplied by the ISP http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto "isp11" <isp11@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2C047203-C7F6-4F58-83C0-CE35E25FF05C@microsoft.com... >a friends' pc crashed. she used "outlook" (windowsxp home-series 2002) for > her email, accessing it from an icon on her desktop. > the crash was repaired, but she can NOT access her old "outlook" email > accn't. > > is there a way she can access the old accn't.? > thnx. > > "windmill1us" wrote: > >> For someone who is always online a web app is ok...if you don't mind >> waiting >> for attachments to be rescaned each time you look at them.
