Outlook and Word 2007 crash when inserting a picture in to doc/ema

I have a problem with Office 2007 specifically with Outlook and Word. They
work fine except when I insert a picture. When I do the program crashes. I
tried running in safe mode but it still does it. For Outlook I created a new
profile and still a crash. Anyone have any ideas. I'm using Vista Business.

Slide the acceleration down on your graphics adapter. If this cures your problem
you need to update your graphics/video driver from the manufacturer's web site.
Right-click the desktop, click personalize, Display settings, advanced settings
button, troubleshoot tab.

Slide the acceleration down on your graphics adapter. If this cures your problem
you need to update your graphics/video driver from the manufacturer's web site.
Right-click the desktop, click personalize, Display settings, advanced settings
button, troubleshoot tab.

Thanks for the reply. The option was greyed out it siad the display driver
did not allow it. I have the 8500GT Nvidia from PNY and using the latest
drivers from nvidia.com. I will try change drivers and report back on my
finds. Thanks. Kris

I unistalled the nvidia drivers and used the windows vga driver and it still
crashed office when I inserted a picture. Next I turn the graphics
acceleration to disable and still had the crashing problem. I am now back to
the nvidia drivers. I must say this one has me baffled.

Mary Sauer

The NVIDIA driver on the web site has a timestamp of June, 2007. Are you sure
this is the one you are using? It is Vista specific.
