Word, Excel, powerpoint : requesting virus scan
Entire office suite, is requesting a virus scan, if i open Word, PowerPoint
or Excel. I do not have Norton or AWG antivirus installed. Antivirus software that i was using is Sophos. If I disable sophos massage requesting virus scan, dos not go away. Have can I disable, that Office does not call virus scan ? Thank you. |

Re: Word, Excel, powerpoint : requesting virus scan
Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to search your hard drive
for the Officeav.dll and Avgoff2k.dll files. Be sure to include hidden and system files in the search options. If you find either (or both), unregister it (or them) by clicking on Start | Run, and in the Open box, enter: regsvr32 /u "c:\<path>\officeav.dll" regsvr32 /u "c:\<path>\avgoff2k.dll" but replace c:\<path> with the actual path to the .dll that you are unregistering. Re: Word, Excel, powerpoint : requesting virus scan
No help. No dll.
If I go to Options, Security Trusted Publishers, i can se at the bottom text that say Virus scanner(s) installed. If I set macro security to high, or start office with /a or /m switch. It does not help. The same virus scan. "garfield-n-odie [MVP]" wrote: > Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to search your hard drive > for the Officeav.dll and Avgoff2k.dll files.
