I bought office thrue my school, can I install in laptop and deskt

I got a copy of Office 2007 Pro thrue the school IT store. I can't find a
clear answer telling me the limit of computers in which I can install Office.
I need the software in my desktop since my laptop has being acting up lately
(motherboard I suspect).I've read up to three. Is this true?;

The three computer license applies only to Home and Student version (2007) and Student and Teacher version (2003). All Office Professional licenses are for 2 machines only, desktop and portable used by the same person.
