Keeping Word Maximized?
Hello,
One of my coworkers is having trouble opening Word in a Maximized window. Lately, whenever he clicks on the Word shortcut on his desktop, Word opens in a small (2" x 2") minimized window. We are using Word 2003 under Windows XP if it helps. Any suggestions getting Word to open in a full maximized window again? Thank you, Steven |

Re: Keeping Word Maximized?
Hello Peter,
It makes the window bigger for that session only, as does clicking the maximize box in the upper right-hand corner. If I save the document with the window maximized, then the next time I open that saved document it will be maximized. The problem occurs when opening a new/blank document with the Word icon, either on the desktop or on the Start menu. Any other suggestions? If you right click on the Word icon and select Properties\General what is set in the Run box. Use the small arrow to set it to Maximized -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
