Allow - "Full control" for "everyone" account for office in HKLM and HKCU.

Thanks, but could you be a little more explicit?

Re: Office Ultima 2007 Configures on Startup every time

I gather Srikanth means that to fix this problem (which, incidentally, I am
also experiencing) you have to edit the Registry to allow "full control" to
"everyone" in the "HKEY_Local_Machine" (HKLM) and "HKEY_Current_User" (HKCU)
folders of the Windows Registry.
If you look in these folders in the Registry, however, it is by no means
clear which sub-folders or components it is suggested we modify... and, while
I am not an expert by any means, I do know you don't mess with the registry
under any circumstances unless you know what you are doing.... and, putting
it mildy, giving "full control" to "everyone" sounds to me like a recipe for
complete disaster - but, like I said, I'm no expert.
Someone from MS support should be addressing this issue - it is getting out
hand, IMHO

Re: Office Ultima 2007 Configures on Startup every time

Since posting the above, I came across a much more helpful post entitled
"Configuring Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007" with some tips from Vinod
Lewis... It seems (ultimately) to have solved the problem for at least one
other user, although I have not had time to try it myself
