can not find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Offi ce\12.0\Outlook
Hi,
I want to increase my outlook data file size more than 2GB. I found a description under the link [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/ 832925] They told to change the values of the MaxFileSize,WarnFileSize,MaxLargeFileSize and WarnLargeFileSize under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\O utlook\PST] in the registry And if I don't find the PST they told me to create. But I can't find Office under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies \Microsoft\] I only have System Certificates and Windows under the above mentioned location So now where can I create the registry key? Thank you in advance for the help SrinivasanPrabakaran. |

If you have an ANSI PST carried over from OL 2002 or earlier, nothing you can do in the registry will allow that file to grow beyond 2 GB. You must create a new Unicode PST, make it your delivery location, then transfer the contents of the old PST to the new one. > I found a description under the link [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/ > 832925] > They told to change the values of the > MaxFileSize,WarnFileSize,MaxLargeFileSize and WarnLargeFileSize under > [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\O utlook\PST] in the > registry There's absolutely no reason to mess with these keys. A Unicode PST minimum size limit _starts_ at 20 GB. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
