"Not Implemented in Outlook"
I converted from a trial of Office 2007 today. I had Office 2003 on prior
but removed the program today. Now with the upgrade I am getting an "not implemented" error in Outlook. I have repaired the Office 2007 program and rebooted, ran office diagnostics and repaired with no look. I reviewed past posts and one mentioned changing the mail profile using the mail option in control panel. I am using Vista and cannot locate this option. Can anyone tell me what I can do to correct this issue? Should I uninstall Office 2007 or not? I downloaded Office 2007 and do not have disks. How do I re-install if I use this option? Thanks... |

RE: "Not Implemented in Outlook"
I have checked over that article already and I did what it instructed. I
still do not have a mail icon even in the classic view. Therefore, still can't seem to find out how to change my user profile. RE: "Not Implemented in Outlook"
Just wanted to let you know. I solved the issue after 3 hours of trying to
everything I could come up. Not sure what happened but after the 3rd attempt at repairing Office and rebooting it finally worked. Now my Outlook is up and running and when I check the control panel the mail icon was visible. Not sure what connect there is but when I was receiving the "not implement" error it wasn't visibile now that it is working it is??? Just something to make note of in case someone else has this issue. "jan" wrote: > I converted from a trial of Office 2007 today. I had Office 2003 on prior > but removed the program today. Re: "Not Implemented in Outlook"
I received the same "Not Implemented" message tonight. I am running a full professional version of office 2007 and, during installation, I removed Outlook 2003. I also noticed the Mail option was not visible in Control Panel.
I tried Office Diagnostics - No luck I tried repairing Office 2007 - No luck I checked Add/Remove features from Office 2003 to find Outlook 2003 had reappeared (I never actually checked that it had gone!) - No luck I checked Add/Remove features from Office 2007 to find that Outlook 2007 was not fully installed (I always fully install all Office programs from the outset!!) so I ticked "Run all from my computer" and let it run it's course. Upon completion, I refreshed Contol Panel and Mail had returned and Outlook now works again. |
