Funny mark on new emails
I don't know if I pressed wrong key or what but whenever I start a new email
it has a funny mark that looks like a dollar sign and has dots and is after each word when I type. I can't get rid of it on my screen but when I send the email it doesn't show up on the receivers end. I've already checked under signatures to see if there was something added there but there isn't. Please help. |

Re: Funny mark on new emails
Does your "dollar sign" look like this: ΒΆ ? If so: Ctrl+Shift+8.

Re: Funny mark on new emails
you probably made formatting marks visible. Do you see a backwards P icon on
the toolbar? Click it to toggle formatting marks off. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request@lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "Auswop" <Auswop@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EE5676A8-0A9B-4AD0-8D77-4D5022A4BB9D@microsoft.com... > I don't know if I pressed wrong key or what but whenever I start a new > it has a funny mark that looks like a dollar sign and has dots and is > after > each word when I type.
