Reset Outlook 2007 to default/factory settings

I don't want to use Outlook 2007 anymore. How do I reset it, so the next time
I start up Outlook 2007, it shows the "Configuring Outlook" dialog box as
well as the "Outlook 2007 Startup". I want it to look as if I've never
touched the application before, even though I did.

I hope this makes sense.

What do you want to do, NOT use Outlook, as in your first sentence, or USE
it, as in your second? Please make your mind up....

Re: Reset Outlook 2007 to default/factory settings

I realized that second sentence would confuse what I'm saying.

I used Outlook 2007 before, but I DON'T want to use it anymore. I want it
reset to the default/factory settings with the "Configuring Outlook" dialog
box as
well as the "Outlook 2007 Startup" popping up once I start Outlook.

I'm sorry, I STILL don't understand your question. Either you want to use
Outlook 2007, or you don't. You are saying that you don't want to use it and
then you WANT to use it.....

Re: Reset Outlook 2007 to default/factory settings

Ok, right now, I don't use Outlook. But I don't want to uninstall it, just
revert to its default settings so that a different person may use Outlook as
if they are for the first time.

I see. Right. Two methods - the easiest is to just create a new Windows
Login for the other person. That will give them a "new" Outlook install.
Or just add a new mail profile in Control panel-Mail and set that as the
default mail profile...

Re: Reset Outlook 2007 to default/factory settings

Thank you for understanding me. I used the second option and it worked fine.
