OL 2007 Personal Folders Not Closed Properly

I have OL 2007 on Vista.

I get a recurring error "the data file "personal Folders" was not closed
properly"

Almost everytime I open OL, I get the reeor
A data file did not close properly the last time...

Any suggestions to stop these errors?

thanks,

Denins

Do you mean a new Windows sign on profile or just redirect my OL to the new
pst?

Re: OL 2007 Personal Folders Not Closed Properly

just a new profile for the outlook
you create it from contro panel mail
then just import the data

You open your previous PST file and copy the data you need from it.

Re: OL 2007 Personal Folders Not Closed Properly

Having been paying attention here have you? Importing an entire PST file
will create a duplicate (aka ghost) PST and corrupt the profile. Moreover,
importing PST's will lose:
1. Custom Forms
2. Custom Views
3. Connections between contacts and activities
4. Received dates on mail
5. Birthdays and anniversaries in calendar
6. Journal connections
7. Distribution Lists

Opening a PST file will preserve all of these. That is why we do not advise
people to import a native file into Outlook.

Re: OL 2007 Personal Folders Not Closed Properly

The culprit is Google Desktop Add-Inn. Either you delete it (in which case
you will get a different error message when opening OL 2007) or you update
it, in which case, the problem will disappear like magic.
