Outlook 2007 and Hotmail - Keeps prompting for password

No matter how often I select Remember Password, outlook will ALWAYS prompt
for username and password when retrieving my mail from Hotmail. If I forget
to select remember password, then the next retrieval will fail with the
following message and the account will go into offline mode

Folder:Inbox Downloading all items.' reported error (0x800CCC32) : 'Access
to the account was denied. Verify that your username and password are
correct. The server responded 'Authorization Required'. '

This is a fresh install of Office 2007, Windows 2003 Server with SP2 and IE
7.0.5730.11

Your Hotmail account must be a Windows Live account and you must use the
Outlook COnnector or your Hotmail account must be a paid account.

I upgraded to The outlook connector and all seems ok. Interestingly, at home
I don't need to use the connector ( using Outlook 2007 on Vista x64 ult ) and
don't experience the same problem.

One thing I noticed though, I can only synchronise the Inbox, not my other
mail folders. I have hotmail based rules that route mail between folders.
This was available using the HTTP provider.
