How do I refuse or return email to a specific sender in Outlook?
I would like to return or even refuse email from one specific person. I use
Outlook and wonder if I can mark "return to sender" email that has already been read or not. Any help would be appreciated since receiving mail from this person is annoying and I would like to make it clear that it needs to stop. Advertisement |

Re: How do I refuse or return email to a specific sender in Outlook?
Just tell them to stop and then create a rule in outlook to delete mail from
this person, should they choose to ignore your request. While you could create a rule to reply, it makes you as big as spammer as the other person... so just delete it and go on. If your mail server lets you create rules, do it on the server. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request@lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "Ben" <Ben@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:37B805B5-6B90-4143-B907-9C0FB4DB48F7@microsoft.com... > I would like to return or even refuse email from one specific person. RE: How do I refuse or return email to a specific sender in Outlook?
Advertisement You could use 'Block Sender'
Select 'Tools' > select > 'Junk E-mail' > select 'Add Sender to Blocked Senders List' Messages from the sender will not be blocked from appearing, mail is just returned -- Regards Bob J If advise given from anyone, solves problem or not, or if solved from another source, post back & let us know. Then we all benefit. "Ben" wrote: > I would like to return or even refuse email from one specific person.
