Signature logo replaced with << OLE Object: Picture (Device Independent Bitmap) >>
I use a signature block in Outlook 2007 which includes a copy of our company
logo. When they receive my emails, many people get this message in place of the logo in my signature: << OLE Object: Picture (Device Independent Bitmap) >> It even happens if I sent to someone in my organization (both Outlook 2007) and they reply, showing my original email which now has that message where the logo should be. Am I using the wrong picture format for my logo? Should it be a .bmp, .gif, etc or is that irrelevant in this instance? What else could cause this? |

How did you create the signature and added the picture?
For which message format do you have this issue? -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook******/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "M Skabialka" <mskabialka@NOSPAMdrc.com> wrote in message news:O$Za5rciIHA.4140@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > I use a signature block in Outlook 2007 which includes a copy of our > company logo. > When they receive my emails, many people get this message in place of the > logo in my signature: > << OLE Object: Picture (Device Independent Bitmap) >> > It even happens if I sent to someone in my organization (both Outlook > 2007) and they reply, showing my original email which now has that message > where the logo should be. > Am I using the wrong picture format for my logo? Re: Signature logo replaced with << OLE Object: Picture (Device Independent Bitmap) >>
I created it in Word to get the forn and format I wanted, and copy/pasted to
the signature window. All my emails go out in Rich Text. Make that: I created it in Word to get the font and format I wanted, and
copy/pasted to the signature window. All my emails go out in Rich Text.
