Reply to emails not in Inbox do NOT go into the Sent Folder - WHY?
Outlook 2007: If I move an email to a folder other than the Inbox and them
reply to that email there is NO record of it in the Sent Folder - the reply stays in the folder from where I sent it. WHY in the world does this happen? |

Open Outlook and select from the menu:
- TOOLS - OPTIONS - E-MAIL OPTIONS... Button - Turn on the check mark next to "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder". Now Click the ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS... Button - Turn OFF the check mark next to "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message" This should do the trick. Re: Reply to emails not in Inbox do NOT go into the Sent Folder -
Hi - I have the opposite problem. I WANT to save replies with original
message and so checked the box in advanced options. However, it makes all my emails stay in the Outbox (until I uncheck the box and send each one again). Do you know if any way to stop that happening? thanks Debra "Nikki Peterson" wrote: > Open Outlook and select from the menu: > > - TOOLS > - OPTIONS > - E-MAIL OPTIONS...
