RE: CANNOT OPEN THIS ITEM. OUTLOOK HAS ALREADY BEGUN TRANSMITTING TH

Please post a clear question in the body of the email, the subject is
truncated. Also include your version of Outlook and account type.

If you have an item in the Outbox that you're trying to open, please advise.

Yep, that was the total sum of the poster's question. "Would appreciate
a solution". When you get a book, the title does NOT tell you what all
is inside the book. It is a intro. That is what the Subject header is
for. You then proceed to describe the problem and divulge details in
the *body* of your post. Go read:

http://66.39.69.143/goodpost.htm
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375
http://users.tpg.com.au/bzyhjr/liszt.html

For stuck items in the Outbox, and only *guessing* at what the problem
is, try the following:

- Load Outlook.
- Put Outlook in offline mode (File -> Work Offline: enable).
- Exit Outlook.
- Load Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe"). This ensures no
plug-ins get loaded when Outlook is loaded. Reloading Outlook in
offline mode means it won't touch the stuck item. If Outlook ever
touches the item, you cannot delete it.
- Delete the stuck item in the Outbox folder.
- Put Outlook in online mode (File -> Work Offline: disable).
- Exit Outlook.
- Reload Outlook.
