Can I attach a READ receipt without the recepient knowing?

I don't get read reciepts. I'm pretty sure I have all the correct options
checked. My delivery reciepts come through without a problem.

Sending read receipts is a choice of the recipient. You can only request
one.

RE: Can I attach a READ receipt without the recepient knowing?

You can request a read receipt without the recipient knowing only if the
recipient is using an older version of Outlook. Newer versions prompt the
user or they can turn on the option to disable sending read receipts.
