Some days ago I reinstalled the complete MS office 2003 suite (both hebrew and
english version) and since then I've been with problems with the spell
check in MS Outlook (my operation system is VISTA).

After writting the message, when clicking SEND or when asking for the
spelling check thorugh the toolbar, it pops up a window error with the
following message:

"The spelling operation could not be completed. The word is too long for the
dictionary"

I would really appreciate any help.

Try shutting down Outlook, renaming C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Proof\Custom.dic and restarting Outlook. If that works, edit
the file you renamed, look for anything that isn't a word, things that might
have html code or whatnot.

Thanks a lot!!

In fact was not necessary to change the file name...I just erased an error
in it that was produced somehow where several words were joined together
forming a very long word.
