Outlook 2000 vs Outlook 2003 - Search problem in 2003

a client was using outlook 2000 and was able to search in realtime (same day
search on email received same day)

Now she has outlook 2003, the same day searches don't work. Has to wait till
th next day, after the information store is reindexed.

Is there a work around for this ?
