Cannot access PST file
Have tried Inbox Repair, Scanpst.exe etc and get "Unexpected Error prevented
access to this file. Use ScanDisk to check for disk errors & try using Index Repair Tool again". I am being directed to go around in circles. I can open Outlook. I have all my mails and addresses there. have checkes all and sundry under Options. Everything correct. Can send a test message - but, cannot sned or receive or delet files or create folders and it all falls back on being unable to access Outlook (1)(1).pst Any ideas? |

Re: Cannot access PST file
OL versions prior to 2003, or using old format, ansi code, pst have a size
limitation of 2gb, though problems can occur from 1.6gb http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=296088 "George Araujo" <george@norfolkcountyfair.com> wrote in message news:OWadj3v1IHA.5512@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > DL wrote on Fri, 20 June 2008 11:39 >> Version of OL? >> Size of the pst? >> >> "Ric" <Ric@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:FC01153C-8FEF-4B56-A397-088DC41B8D3C@microsoft.com... >> > Have tried Inbox Repair, Scanpst.exe etc and get "Unexpected Error >> > prevented >> > access to this file.
