error message using outlook to connect to live mail
I get a message that says" the set of folders cannot be opened. the
information store could not be opened" I have another msn account that works fine with outlook 2007, what is the problem. I am using Windows Vista pro. I set-up a new account through outlook connector. If any one can shed some light on this I would appreciate it. |

Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and examine click Data Files. Remove the bogus reference. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Outlook is complaining that there is a reference in the mail profile to a Personal Folders file that doesn't exist. Look in the mail profile to see which one it is and remove it. If it's connected with a Windows Live account, instead of what I'm suggesting here, remove the account and readd it, also using the Mail applet in Control Panel. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
