Search Error Can't find URL Sharepoint 3.0
I lost my Notes I used to have a Link to the fix when Searching I get error
The Web application at https: could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application. I know it's because the URL mapping but I can't find where to add the URL path? I've fixed it on two other machines but it escapes my head on where it is Either on the Site itself or the WSS 3.0 Administration Site Thanks in Advance. I hope that is the right place, it seems to me that's where I get things to be mapped. But I haven't futzed with that for fear of breaking something. ![]() Hope that helps. Thanks that's it
add the URL path". I think you may want to add the URL to the Alternate access mappings that you can find from the Central Admin site > clicking Operation tab on the navigation bar. A MS Rep told me. Weired thing is I couldn't find it from google. The good news is this will be Archived on Google for other people Thanks Russ -- Russell Grover Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Microsoft Certified Small Business Specialist.
