Thanks for the how-to. Had a feeling ThinApp would be in there somewhere. Wonder if it's possible to use a similar technique for WinPE ....... -- Jon |

Re: Portable PowerShell
I tried this on WinPE , but wasn't successful,
looks like there is something missing, GPoSH gives a warning about not able to write OS disk (what couls be correct ;-) ) PowerShell does not give any output it just does not start. Re: Portable PowerShell
oh well..
i bet it could be gotten to work on BartPE, or ReatoXPE though.. but to me just ot be able to run it on an existing OS instance is great. I wonder if somebody would try this on linux/WINE ? //o// [MVP] wrote: > I tried this on WinPE , but wasn't successful, > looks like there is something missing, GPoSH gives a warning about not able > to write OS disk (what couls be correct ;-) ) > PowerShell does not give any output it just does not start. > > Greetings /\/\o\/\/ > > "Robertico" wrote: > >> This is awesome!!!!!!!! >> >> Robertico >> >> "Karl Prosser[MVP]" <karl@p_o_w_e_r_s_h_e_l_l.com> wrote in message >> news:eRGsRhQ0IHA.2188@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >>> to anybody interested, >>> I blogged about using PowerShell in a portable manner. >>> >>> http://karlprosser.com/coder/2008/06...n-server-core/ >> >> |
