Xbox Elite edition will be out soon!!

Couple of months ago the news on the spread, about Xbox with some changes and here today we got some confirmation

The upgraded machine is to launch April 29 in the United States, sporting features not found on the two existing versions of the console, including a 120 gigabyte hard drive, high-definition media interface (HDMI) port and cable, and a black finish instead of the white one on current versions, Microsoft said. It will not include a high-definition HD-DVD ROM . The package will also come with a black wireless controller and headset, and sell for about $480 US.

Well still I think Ps3 is a better buy at the moment. Investing 50$ / 2.5K more is better ...

480$ thats overpriced for me, lets take PS3 for example it offers 60GB HD with Blueray drive with mere 120$ more, while new X360 doesn't even have any High Def Drive embedded in it!!

Duh.. does it matters companies are playing mind game giving new colour an hdd does not make a new console like nVIDIA just adding GDD4 to 8800 GTX and naming it 8900 GTX does it makes sense if they can't make new better products no 2 is enforcing them to do.. Duh.. mind games only colour freak will be impressed by the design.. And as far as PS3 ya its worth every paise but games are still where it lacks.. Like god game like Metal gear solid 4 are only better to churn put max from it

For all the Xbox fans....Sorry but a Bad news

Xboz Elite version still wont be supporting PCM 5.1 format.

When asked about the same to Microsoft Technician the reply comes,
"If you are keen on having 5.1 PCM output, I recommend purchasing the Toshiba A2 player which after the price drop, will be much cheaper than Elite," which we suspect isn't quite the company line.

How on this earth ..with Ps3 around.. with boosting facilities ..and bla bla...<s expect Elite to be a HIT ... Duh!!!....

They can only expect their sale to increase if Wii as well as Ps3 cut down on their production...

Which is again a rare Occasion
