I still haven't seen anyone with an iPhone, lol
I live and work in central London.
And whilst there is no end of carphone warehouse & o2 stores with iPhone ads/displays, i have YET TO SEE ANOYONE ON THE STREET USING AN IPHONE! Sales in the UK must be a kick in the balls for apple. The Jew owners of the Carphone warehouse and 02 must be crying themselves to sleep every night as they are being deprived of cocaine and prostitutes. ( By the way that coke must go up their big noses really easily!!!!) |

It's very popular and doesn't cost that much more than a normal phone contract. Even Jeremy Clarkson on TopGear has one. |

Its a gimmick, when compared to other phones its features pale into insignificance. Its drawbacks, far out weigh its gimmicks. Its not very popular at all, not sure where you got that from. The only people buying it are apple diehards, and people that think that tiliting the phone 90 degrees, tilts the picture is a really great feature on a phone. Somethig they will no doubt get bored of, after a week. For people that want the features, buy a Nokia N95, for the people that just want a cool phone get the nokia 8600. |

Thing is I see far more people with N95's that don't realise what a piece of state-of-the-art engineering they have in their pockets and use it just to make phone calls. As for the iPhone I hear the same people go on about what you can do on it! When I explain to them the true story they ask me to show them how to use the N95 to do all these things. My mate didn't even know it had wifi and a SIP client built into the firmware. Imagine his surprise when I showed him how to use his phone when abroad to make or receive free phone calls. Or use the Navigating feature to find his way home. Or upload directly to flickr or YouTube. Watch the latest Heroes episode on his TV from his phone. Operate the phone using the accelerometer using RotateMe and Nokmote. Beh, the N95 is alien technology compared to the iPhone. But what I don't understand is why the Lemmings haven't bought one anyway. I mean they did with the iPod even though there was the iRiver et al. Perhaps everyone is just skint? |

Reason, its to bloody expensive. I've got a US iPhone with OTB v1.1.2 activated, but locked to AT&T under my desk at the moment, bought and now selling as its total pants. I like the iPod side of things, but I can do more on my N73 than I can do ion the iPhone. Oh, selling for £240 if anyone is interested? -- Gerry (The MOTH) gerrymoth.vox.com |

Smaller than I thought (I've got a Vario III which is a bit chunkier), nice screen, flash UI, but wasn't terribly impressed with anything other than the UI. As I said though, I've never seen one in the flesh, apart from in the O2 store. D |
