Mp3 as Ringtone in Nokia 6600

der z one more problem.....in de oggplayer wen de file info is taken,all de files including de .ogg files r displayed as 0 bitrate n 0 hz files...wat might b de reason?????? plz help....

try uninstalling the ovcontroller.sis....

.......in the software see settings codec from options...check if correct codec/plugin is used...

If plugin is not there then install again......if ogg files are playing in voice recorder then plugins is there....

if u want to listen songs there are many oither softwares like wma player,LCG Jukebox(good)..i can give them...all can play ogg..

sorry for late reply.

Again u might have converted the music in a wrong way..re-convert

no OVCONTROLLER.sis can be installed any where but it's not required allways...only needed for older 6600(firmware version<3.4) if u find firmware>=3.4 then uninstall or delete ovcontroller.sis(to know firmware version type code *#0000# in mobile screen-in my case a year old 6600 has V 5.53.0 as firmware version)

select any ogg ringtone in profiles....see if it's ringing...then no problem(random one might not work.)

ya this file is the core codec for which we can set ogg as ringtone in 6600 and listen to songs in voice recorder.

But to listen to ogg songs in a jukebox manner the softwares are
Ogg player free, LCG Jukebox,Wma player

The solution given in the following post is working. We have tested a lot of 128 kpbs mp3s & all are working.

Put the mp3s in the correct folder mentioned.
