In order to use the full capability of Motorola Phone Tools on the
V325i, you have to do a SEEM edit to enable USB and/or Bluetooth File
Transfer.
You also must tell MPT that the phone is really a V323im in order for it
to work. You can do this manually every time you start MPT, by pressing
F6 and then manually going through the setup.
For some models of phones, there was a way to edit the ID string at
Bytes: 0022
SEEM: 04FF
Record: 1
to have MPT think that the phone was different than it really is. I
tried just changing the ID string from V325i to V323im, but that didn't
work, MPT just gives errors if you try to have it auto-detect the phone.
Does anyone have a V323i that they could read the SEEM data from, or has
anyone modified the ID string successfully on a V325i to get it to work
with MPT?
