All of a sudden, nearly all of the mail being delivered to my address is
marked as SPAM. Even mail from safe senders. What can I do to fix that? |

Outlook does not do that; it's either an add-on, or your mail server.

Well that was abrupt. Okay, it isn't my mail server. None of my 36 other
users are having the problem either. I also disabled and then completely uninstalled my anti-virus. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook. The problem continues. Any suggestions as to what else it is or isn't? Has anybody seen this before? I didn't mean to be abrupt, just short.
Can you give some more details, e.g. - your Outlook version? - how exactly are the message marked as spam? awolfinthefold wrote: > Well that was abrupt. Okay, it isn't my mail server. No worries. I appreciate any help I can get.
Outlook 2003 sp3. OS is XP Professional. Fully updated, including IE8. Any E-mail that comes in has [SPAM] in the subject line. Even if it is from users that are on the safe senders list. Otherwise the mail that should come into the Inbox lands there just as it is supposed to. It was running McAfee enterprise, but I took that off to troubleshoot this problem. None of my other clients are having a problem. Many thanks. This is either being added on the server side or by an add-in. Outlook simply has no ability to mask subjects like that. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
