Default New task default date is tomorrow

Hello,
Is there a way to change the default date of new tasks (started from the
task bar or the to-do bar) from tomorrow to today?
It used to default to today's date but recently changed.

Thank you for your help.

The to-do bar uses the default quick flag setting, which you recently
changed.
