Google about to buy Panoramio

PANORAMIO announced that, the company has agreed to a takeover by Google, and the deal will be finalized in the next two weeks.

The guys that founded Panoramio will probably be millionaires, and integration between Google Earth and Panoramio will end up faster - and with more resources, it will not turn into a mess.

If you are unaware of Panoramio, it is a community web-site that allows people to take their own pictures and import them into Google Earth. Panoramio is quite useful feature, filling holes that Google Earth cannot fulfil by itself.
