KOffice 1.6.3 Released

The KOffice team has released version 1.6.3 of their Office suite for the KDE desktop. This is the last maintenance release of the 1.6 series and contains mainly bug fixes.

Highlights of this release are:

• Edit->Find action added, works within table, query and form views as a global, context-dependent window.
• Simple Printouts: added support for printing and previewing images (Kexi)
• Improvements in the html import filter (KWord)
• Fix copy and paste of images between
• different KPresenter instances (KPresenter)
• Fix a bug which prevented KPresenter to deactivate the Disappear effect (KPresenter)
• Improvement to the filter preview dialog: the whole image is filtered in the background, and is updated squares by squares during the progression of the filtering (Krita)
• Improvement in the configuration dialog of the bumpmap filter (Krita)
• Fix rotation of the image caused by reading exif tag (Krita)
• Fix for the line-looks-like-greater-intestine problem when painting with pressure without size variation (Krita)
• Fix scaling with a selection (Krita)
• Fix scale of image so it leaves no transparent borders (Krita)
• Fixed invalid include for 3rdparty apps using kchart lib (KChart)

Among the bug fixes and improvements, this release introduces three new translations: Low Saxon, Nepali and Bulgarian languages, which makes KOffice available in 39 languages. For a full and detailed change-log, please click here.
