The merged compiz and beryl projects finally have a new name: "Compiz Fusion". The new name is a large step towards the ultimate unification of the two projects. I personally like the new name, almost better than beryl. For those confused, Compiz is the name of the core, and all the plugins are now called Compiz Fusion. There have already been a series of very impressive new plugins developed under the new merged community, and it is only going to keep getting better from here.
