No they're not! Steve Jobs told BUSINESS today that they were a valuable
BUSINESS tool.....in spite of the fact you can't run your company's
software on them.....sort of....

at least with the apple crowd, everyone knows there is no vender lock in
since everything is basically open source and based on open standards.

with windows and nokia, verizon, etc you are pretty much trapped, but
the apple world has always been based on anarchy and free thought. kinda
cool since they also happen to make the best pcs's and cell phones
nowadays.

so it's a win, win if you are smart enough to understand it.

ROTFLMAO, yup, I understood that the damn things were turned to bricks,
"Open Source" and all, when someone did something that the big Apple in the
sky didn't like. Like I said, if you can talk the dolts into how good it is
for them and maybe even make them believe that it makes them special, you
can totally control the customer. I hope you have a warm, cozy, well taken
care of, feeling about your Apple, it makes me happy to know that heirs to
Madison Avenue in the fifties have arisen and are as skilled as ever.

have a nice day

the price is more like $74, not $100!

i've used "MobileMe" for 5 years and it's wonderful, best integrated
service available on any platform.

but that's the FULL retail price, not the "google shopping" price.

i've used mobileme for many years and never paid more than $78, when the
full "list price" was always $99.

larry, you might want to stop posting for awhile, you simply don't know
anything about what you speak...
