Internet on Suse 10.1

I can't hook up to the internet, i've tried everything, though I'm not an expert. Can anyone tell me how to set up internet connection, please.

What type of computer are you using, like what manufacturer. (examples: Dell, Gateway.) Also, what model, and are you looking for ethernet or wireless internet?

Which router ?

Try doing this in Terminal if you use gnome else open Konsole if you are using KDE ..

Code:

sudo or su pppoeconf

But make sure your Lan Network is set in eth0 ... check this by using this

ifconfig
