Ubuntu: root 'access' to all users?
Hi guys,
I just came to know that ubuntu has 'sudo'. Can be used to get root 'access' for running commands (correct me), and for sudo we have to enter our (user) password.... (Again correct me if i am wrong). Does that mean all user can access all files using chmod in sudo mode? Does that mean there is no owner (root)? How to restrict users? Thank you... |

Re: Ubuntu: root 'access' to all users?
The root account is there but it's locked by default.
When you add new users, you can restrict access to sudo for those users froom User Privileges : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AddUsersHowto
