I am trying to download and install as per the guide: How to setup the perfect Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop | Chris Johnston These commands (for downloading n installing) are taking hours to complete. And my connection sometimes gets disconnected in between (may be due to some signal problem). Again I have to dial and again I have to make the set up. Still trying. I need help to setupReliance in Ubuntu
I was using Ec325 on Ubuntu 7.1 without problems.
But now, I can not connect anymore. PPP daemon has died = A modem hang up the phone (exit code = 16). Var/log/messages = warning: secret file /etc/ppp/papsecrets has world and/or group access. Please, can u help me to reconnect ? |
