DID YOU ALWAYS USE CANON INK. OTHERWISE THEY CAN CLAIM THAT THE INK YOU
USED RUINED THE PRINTER AND CAUSED THE PROBLEM.

Hmm .... there's a point. When the problem 1st occured, a few days
ago ( printing only in green / blue ) ..... I assumed that the colour
cartridge ( A Canon one) was about done. So I changed it. The
replacement was NOT a Canon one, although it stated on the packet
that it WAS suitable for the iP2000. I've NOW tried a new Canon one,
but am still having the same problem (green / blue printing only).

Could I have ruined (totally) the printer, by not using Canon ink ?

What REALLY pisses me off is the fact that (unlike with my old
Lexmark 1100) I've never had a "low-ink warning" with the Canon.
I'd just changed the cartridge when the printing had faded.

Any advice as to how I can get the Canon iP2000 back printing
normally ? Do I need new print-heads ? Is it worth buying spare
parts or should I just write it off & get a new printer ?

Thanks for your input, anyway.
