Slow HP Printer
I had to change the ink cart.in my PSC 1350 all-in-one HP Printer.
Normally this is no problem but, for some reason this time after completing the alignment (scan test page) the printer is running very slowly so as to not be useful!. To type an addy on the envelope takes 20 to 30 minutes!!. I downloaded the latest drivers/install pkg. from HP but that didn't help. Can anyone help me get this thing back up to normal speed. Oh yeah, the PC is dumping to the print buffer normally as far as I can tell. Windoz XP Home addition. |

Some HP printers will slow down when the cartridge gets too hot, or thinks it is too hot, the delay is to allow the head to cool. You may have a defective new cartridge. Trying the old one will tell you. Tony |
