Lexmark X5270 AIO Setup

Just installed Windows 2000 on a Pentium III 600 w/ 256Mb of Ram. SP4 and
all updates as well.

Downloaded the (presumed) latest driver from the Lexmark website. Installed
with no errors.

Scanner works fine, we keep getting a communication error on the printer.
Printer worked with Win98 before we upgraded to Win2000.

Uninstalled and reinstalled in Safe Mode. No difference.

Any insight into why this does not work is appreciated.
