Inkjet printer
Hi all
Looking for advice on what inkjet to buy Recently purchased a canon ip4200 a good printer untill I fitted non genuine carts not working now seem to have a lockout fault I want a printer I can use non genuine carts in (need to afford to run the thing!!!!) that will print photos and CD or DVDs Advise appreciated. |

I've got a iP5200 that I've been refilling without problems. What do you mean by a "Lockout"? Do the non-genuine carts have the little electronic chip on them? I found that when the Canon cartridge was deemed to be empty by the software, I just had to keep clicking on (I can't remember the exact name) OK to keep printing. Probably had to click on this a dozen times & eventually it stopped popping up. Of course it's up to me now, to keep on eye on the carts.
