Fujitsu dot matrix page length
I have a customer who prints multipart waybills on a Fujitsu DL3800
dot matrix printer. All was working fine until we replaced the server running Windows small business server 2003. Now whenever he prints a waybill the first page prints fine but the 2nd is one inch short, ie it does not quite get to the top of the next page (1" short). Now the forms are 12" long so I'm sure that has something to do with it but kinda stumped. This is the same printer we were using before, I believe the driver is the same, the application is definitely the same so what changed? This printer has emulation parameters that can be changed using combinations of the buttons on the printer, also you can choose different emulations. The setting for page length was set for 11" but that was the same as before when it was working. i tried changing it to 12" but it made no difference. Looks like the printer driver and software override the hardware settings so how can I get it to use the hardware settings or change the driver to be set for 12" long forms? This is the only thing this printer is used for.. thaks for any help you can offer... Jeff.. |
