We need a High Output Inkjet printer

Required Spec's:

Prints 5 ppm or more (300 per hour) color. More is better.

Higher for black

Good duty cycle. 5,000 or more per month. Prefer 25,000 or more

Relatively low cost per printed side. Must be $0.10 or less pre side, for
everything.

Will print labels

Will print postcard stock. the heavier, the better.

No heat of laser. (Or if we could find a laser printer that would not
disrupt our laser label sheets. No curl, no adhesive issues.

8.5 x 11" sheets.

Will print onto matte paper or inkjet glossy. No other special paper
requirements

Very good quality. Doesn't have to be photo quality.

Does have to be excellent business graphics quality



Ideal:

Borderless print

Straight through path.

If will handle 8.5 x 14" sheets

If will print cut postcard size. 6x4" or 5.5" x 4.25"



Must be something somewhere.

The only way you will begin to meet the per page cost is to use aftermarket
ink feed systems.
(This assumes high end SOHO office type printers.) Otherwise you may be
getting into commercial
(Expensive) printers intended for the printing industry.
