Noisy HP 932C

My Hp 932C printer hjas started making a squeaking noise as the print
head travels back and forth while printing. Is there a quick fix for
this?

Thanks!

Open the top cover, you will see a steel bar running from side to side. Take a
clean cloth, dampen it with a light machine oil and rub it onto the bar, You
only need a tiny amount.
See if that helps.
