Print size is too small

Both my Dell 960 and HP V40 printer are not printing properly. The printed
image is very small, centered on the 8.5 X 11 paper. Can't even read the
printing. With both machines behaving the same, it appears the problem is
in my computer. Does anybody have an idea of what is going on? OS is XP,
SP2
