Anybody willing to ZIP /RAR?... the install CD for this printer and place it
where i can get it IE a torent site open ftp server...

My wife and I are disabled and very low income. We "inherited" the HP PSC
750 and cant afford the 9.95 plus shipping that HP wants (groceries
do have to come first)

Thanks in advance

If you are using Windows XP the driver is built into the operating system but
this may be a limited functionality driver. You can install the printer using
Add New Printer in the Printer folder. If you are using Windows 98 HP will
probably not have the driver on the CD. I see that the XP driver is available
for download at

(HP Printer/Scanner/Copier Software/Driver). This will be a fully functional
driver.
Good luck.

and without the cd i cant install their software. the interesting thing is
that i can print to it . I have to scan and fax a couple of very important
papers and cant find any public fax places that wont kill out grocery budget
(the $ would have to come out of it) they want $5/page at the only place
i found and thate faxing to a 800 number even

Re: HP PSC 750 CD

It really sounds to me that you have the in built driver. (In built to Windows).
You can download the XP driver fromHp if you are using Windows XP (no good if
you are using Windows 98) and install it.
Just make sure you uninstall the printer, disconnect the cable (very
important), reboot, install using the downloaded driver and connect the printer
to the printer when asked and not before.

Download the CD contents:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/ftp2/pub/softlib/so...8424-10010.exe

the name of the exe file is the HP Part # of the most current CD
available for the PSC 700 Series.
