Pleae help me find a good printer

Hello,
I just sold my Canon i9900. It is an excellent printer. However, even
though it has individual tanks, it costs me fortune to print pictures. I
heard that the Kodak printer is supposed to be half the price in ink, but
they are all-in-one printers and I have a perfectly working scanner that I
like very much.
Can anyone suggest a decent printer that prints reasonable priced, good
quality pictures?
